More than 21 years ago, Melissa had a vision to create the best community association management company in the desert.  She envisioned a company that would provide exceptional customer service to not only the associations that DRM would manage, but also the individual members of the community.  Under Melissa's guidance, DRM has become synonymous with the terms professional and creative problem solving.  In addition to earning her CCAM and PCAM industry designations, she is also a licensed landscape contractor.            

Kerry Leavitt, CCAM

Director of Business Development/Client Relations

As an eighteen year professional in the association management industry,  Kerry is responsible for overseeing the marketing and client retention efforts of DRM. He also serves as Director of the Developer Services Division.  Additionally, he has worked for several years for two well known builders as their homeowners association specialist, serving on numerous association boards. 

The experiences of working for a builder, along with his expertise in the association management field, make him uniquely qualified to assist our developer clients.

Kerry has served on a number of industry professional boards including CACM (California Association of Community Managers) and the SHC (Senior Housing Council) of BIA.   He served on the Membership Committee for the local BIA (Building Industry Association) chapter and is a member of the CACM vertical development taskforce.

Kerry was awarded his CCAM® designation in its initial year and is a graduate of Brigham Young University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations/Organizational Communications.

Nena T. Rutherford, CCAM_®

Director of Management Services

As the Director of Management Services, Nena brings over 17 years of professional experience in the association management field to the oversight of our corporate association management team, representing over 75 associations.

Her experience includes managing new large scale planned communities and a portfolio of existing communities. Through this she has assisted in developing programs that benefit builders through our Developer Services Division.

Nena currently is a member of the Coachella Valley CAI (Community Association Institute) Board of Directors; Chair of the Manager Committee of CAI and also served as the Director of Education for CACM (California Association of Community Managers) and received her CCAM^® (Certified Community Association Manager) Designation over 10 years ago from CACM.
